Girl on the Beach

I’ve been playing around with what to do with this tiny stitchery I found here.  It is out of the book, “Mer littoral: Des centaines de motifs a broder au point de croix.”

So simple but it captures the essence so playing at the beach.

This is the only fabric I had around that even resembled sand, so I need to go find something appropriate. Now go find something fun to do for the weekend.

A Finish

I have this Lizzie Kate stitchery “A Little Beach’ saved on my Pinterest “Cross Stitch” board, and have had the kit for quite some time, but just now got around to doing it.  It’s a very fast stitchery, so if you are on the fence about making it for yourself, go ahead.  It is really cute.

It’s my plan to buy some fabric and turn it into a mini-pillow in much the same way as Carolina Stitcher, also a Faye, did hers.

I’m holding out for just the right fabric for mine, so it might take me a while to find it.  Anyway, here is the finished product.

The kit comes with the fabric, beads and charm.
