I just finished this sampler. I saw it done up many months ago and just knew I had to do it some day. I had to special order it. Mine is done on 32 count fabric and the finished area is 6 1/2 inches by 7 inches. It was so much fun to stitch and I decided to do the sheep all in french knots. I love how they look all wooly!
Here is a closer view of their wool. Some people don’t like doing french knots but I don’t really mind. That’s a lot of french knots too!
Have a great week!
That turned out beautifully. It was such a clever ideal to do the French knots for the sheep. You should post it on FB.
Thanks, Kay, maybe I will.
That’s a lot of French knots, you crazy woman 🙂 🙂 🙂
quel beau relief avec tous ces points de nœud !
bravo pour cette réalisation
Merci beaucoup Brigitte!
I’m a little bit knotty
that is simply stunning and brave you, with all those French knots
Where can I special order this pattern of Sophia’s Sampler? Been looking lots of places. Thanks in advance for any help.
Bev, You may notice that I’ve not been maintaining my web site for a long time now but I keep it as reference for myself. I don’t know what state you live in but I live in Washington. I order my copy of Sophia’s Sampler from my local Cross Stitch shop in Issaquah, WA. called Threadneedle Street. https://www.threadneedlestreet.com/. They might be able to find it for you.
Hello! I called Threadneedle street, and unfortunately she wasn’t able to locate the pattern for Sophia’s Sampler. I’ve been looking everywhere for it! Do you have any other suggestions where I might find it? Or would you consider selling your pattern? It’s so lovely!
Thank you for any help.
Hi April, I was the same way about the pattern once I’d seen it, so I can appreciate your wanting it. If you will send me your address via my gmail account at email@example.com I’ll give you my pattern provided you pass it on some day to someone else.
I know you stitched this a few years back, but can you tell me where you ordered the pattern? I’ve been looking for this chart for a very long time. Would like to stitch it before my eyes really stop working. Thank you
I got it from my local shop called Threadneedle Street and I just learned that she can no longer get it. Wish I could give you a better lead but I can’t and I just gave mine away.
Do you still have the pattern? I have been searching everywhere for it. Would you be willing to sell it? Thank you.
I’m so sorry Suzanne but I gave it away a long time ago.
