Flower Pinkeep

I think this pinkeep from Cuore e Batticuore is so pretty, and she gives us the chart.  You will find the chart lower on the page after you see all of her lovely views of how she worked it up.

A Finish

I have this Lizzie Kate stitchery “A Little Beach’ saved on my Pinterest “Cross Stitch” board, and have had the kit for quite some time, but just now got around to doing it.  It’s a very fast stitchery, so if you are on the fence about making it for yourself, go ahead.  It is really cute.

It’s my plan to buy some fabric and turn it into a mini-pillow in much the same way as Carolina Stitcher, also a Faye, did hers.

I’m holding out for just the right fabric for mine, so it might take me a while to find it.  Anyway, here is the finished product.

The kit comes with the fabric, beads and charm.

Creative Use of Alphabet

I thought Carolina Stitcher used this La-D-Da freebie (5th picture down) in such a creative way. She used this decorative alphabet on the front of a zipped pouch for attendees at a retreat. Just go here to La-d-da’s freebie page and look for Alphabet & Hare to get your copy of the chart.

I love the idea of the zippered pouch.

I haven’t had time to work this pattern up, but if your garden is really coming alive like ours is, then you might like this freebie from Kreinik.

They have an example of the finished product on a jar that shows the great colors they use. Just follow the link above for the instructions and PDF of the pattern.

ABC from 2011

When I logged in today I discovered that all of my links no longer went to the same places I’d pointed them to originally, so I’m loading this freebie for today.  Maybe they’ll get their site corrected soon and I’ll repost the one intended for today.

Can I Help to Water?

You may have seen this on Pinterest at some time but may have not had the path to where it was posted.  The site use to be called Italian Magic Moments I believe, but Blog di Gloria, as it is now, shares her sweet design of this little bird sitting on the watering can.  It’s only 33 X 35 stitches.
