From Indulgy.com

If you would like to stitch a Liberty flag, here are links to a couple of them.

The first is to from Weeks Dye Works and SamSarahDesignStudio. Just scroll down the freebies page until you see the Liberty chart.  When sewn, it looks like this.

The second one is from Glory Bee and looks a lot like this.

I hope your Memorial Day is full of appreciation for the Liberty we have, and honoring those who’ve made it possible.

A Finish

beach birdI have this Lizzie Kate stitchery “A Little Beach’ saved on my Pinterest “Cross Stitch” board, and have had the kit for quite some time, but just now got around to doing it.  seahorseIt’s a very fast stitchery, so if you are on the fence about making it for yourself, go ahead.  It is really cute.

It’s my plan to buy some fabric and turn it into a mini-pillow in much the same way as Carolina Stitcher, also a Faye, did hers.fishes

I’m holding out for just the right fabric for mine, so it might take me a while to find it.  Anyway, here is the finished product.

The kit comes with the fabric, beads and charm.

Have a great week!

Brilliant Blooms

I haven’t had time to work this pattern up, but if your garden is really coming alive like ours is, then you might like this freebie from Kreinik.

They have an example of the finished product on a jar that shows the great colors they use. Just follow the link above for the instructions and PDF of the pattern.

Hope your week goes really well.

ABC from 2011

When I logged in today I discovered that all of my links no longer went to the same places I’d pointed them to originally, so I’m loading this freebie for today.  Maybe they’ll get their site corrected soon and I’ll repost the one intended for today.

Accueil posted this pretty little stitchery back in 2011, but the pattern is timeless and will make a great scissor keeper or pin keep.

The pattern is on the same page so just go here to save it for yourself.

Enjoy your sewing!

Can I Help to Water?

You may have seen this on Pinterest at some time but may have not had the path to where it was posted.  The site use to be called Italian Magic Moments I believe, but Blog di Gloria, as it is now, shares her sweet design of this little bird sitting on the watering can.  It’s only 33 X 35 stitches.

The link to the PDF is located just under the image. Have fun with it and hope you have a good week too.
