Pillow With Embroidered Branch

This very pretty design comes from the Danish web site Hendes Verden.

They used DMC floss colors, no. 469, 470, 471 and 937

The instructions are in Danish of course, but if you look for these words, “Se diagrammet til pude med broderet gren her” which translated says, ” See the diagram for cushion with embroidered branch here” you will find the link to the PDF. I used Google Translate so that I could read the whole page and appreciate how they made their beautiful pillow for Spring.

Seed Planting Time

I like the way they used them to adorn a wreath for a spring door decoration.

Easter Egg Bunny

Here is another cute Easter bunny to put together. The idea comes from Art & Ricamo and she points to Sylvia’s for the pattern. Here the pattern is set for all one color, but you can see it’s easy to mix it up.

She also specifically has a PDF to download that says Easter.  Just scroll down to the end of the post and click on the link that reads, “PDF Download Easter / Easter / Paques”. From there, she gives you a choice.

It would make a cute ornament for an Easter Egg Tree.

Little Bowl of Flowers

Have you ever been to Permin, Scandinavian Art Needlework?  Every month they give away a free cross stitch pattern.  This month it is this pretty little bowl of flowers.  Just go here for your own pattern.

To locate the monthly free chart after loading their site, go to the third option on the upper tab that reads Nyheder (translated to English is News).  A drop-down menu shows the third option to be Hent Broderi-monster (translated to English is Download Graph).
